We are really cool people that do really cool stuff...

Who Are We?

Smart People for Hire

The Narosa Group is a Charlotte, NC based IT and Business Consulting firm with more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology, Business Strategy and Project Management. We’ve all owned our own businesses or worked for big companies, so we know what works and what doesn’t. We’ve “Been There – Done That” so you can benefit from our knowledge.

We develop business plans, we run projects, we do development. We do as much or as little as you want us to do… and help you company execute to those plans while providing sales and operations strategies for long term growth.

What do we do?

Specific areas of expertise include:  assessment and strategic planning, IT project management for both short and long term initiatives, the translation of business needs into technical requirements, support for business intelligence tools, and the ability to teach the skills needed for on-going success within your organization.

Basically, we can help you every step of the way from concept to completion.

How do we do it?

Our Hybrid-Agile based development methods allow us to provide seamless integration between your staff, your customers, and our project teams and resources. Our dedicated development teams consist of project managers, software engineers, database engineers, graphic designers, and quality assurance professionals.

The advantages of hiring a fully integrated team is cost, quality, and confidentiality. Our teams work for and with you, and become an integral part of your organization to the level that you want. We spend the time to understand YOUR unique business and what you are trying to accomplish. We do not try to fit you into a ‘One Size fits All’ model.  Paired with each development team is a Business Analyst, Technical Lead and Project Manager to make sure everything is running smoothly and to keep you informed every step of the way.

Simply put, we fit in wherever you have a need. We can handle the entire process or play a small part. It’s your choice.

An organization's ability to learn, and translate that learning into action rapidly, is the ultimate competitive advantage.

What We Do

Let us help you stop starting, and start finishing.

Do you know what you want to accomplish? Yes?? GREAT!

No? That’s OK, we can help…

From Strategic Planning to Project Planning, we have the expertise to help you ever step of the way.

Do you know how you want it to look and feel? Do you know what you really want it to do?

Our Design Team, Business Analysts and Tech Leads work closely with you ever step of the way in searching out what exactly you want to accomplish. In reality, you probably will learn a bit about what you didn’t even know you wanted!

Yes…They’re good…really good!

This is the nuts and bolts part of the project.

Our local Tech Leads and Systems Architects will be directing the developers to bring to life what you have envisioned. No matter what the technology, we have the resources to get the job done!

Testing is one of the most overlooked, but certainly the most important part of any project.

We employ a very well designed testing procedure that seeks out, tracks and fixes all issues that arise. Once we complete systems tests, we  include you, our client, as part of the User Acceptance.

Now comes the fun part!

Deployment!!  Once testing is complete and you the client have approved, we deploy into full production. Our staff will help train yours on how to manage and maintain things into the future.

Then we celebrate your success!

A business has to be involving, it has to be fun, and it has to exercise your creative instincts.

Richard Branson

Lets get one thing straight: if a consulting organization comes to you and says they employ a “True Agile” methodology, they’re lying.  OK, maybe lying is too strong a word here, but they are certainly not telling you the whole truth. Truth is, that unless you have a full time and large IT staff that can dedicate 100% of their time on YOUR project (and you’re willing to pay for that) its impossible to do TRUE AGILE.

Seriously…do you think you can afford this?

So what then? Traditional Waterfall? Well, we don’t quite like that either. We don’t like to have long dark periods where the developers are just working away then BAM – we show you your new product or system at the end. Not the most reassuring process for you, and honestly not very comforting for us.

What we do at The Narosa Group is ANALYZE the project first, then proceed in a manner that best fits your expectations. Usually, this is a Hybrid process: utilizing the best aspects of both - Agile sprints for core development and waterfall for integration, data migration, testing and last minute end user requirements. You’ll get the best of both worlds – shorter development cycles and control of scope while having the capability to fully integrate and execute the broader based activities into a systematic plan.  Less meetings and more doing. We like that. And so will you.

Let us show you more details on how we can maximize your investment while minimizing your risk. It’s really not that hard, and we think just a lot of common sense.

Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can.

Through our partnership with Phantom.Ventures, our Start-Up Program is designed to provide Charlotte area start-up companies with the tools and resources necessary to get into the marketplace at a fraction of the cost of normal development. The program encompasses developing an MVP, assisting with revenue models, sales channels and plans for scalability.

Leveraging the tools we’ve developed working with both Fortune 50 companies and area Start-Ups, coupled with the powerful resource network from Phantom.Ventures, we can provide you  a big company image on a Start-Up budget.

Some of the many benefits of the Narosa Group Start-Up Program including:

  •  Software development at or below cost
  • Access to libraries of source code available to develop “brochureware” apps and websites
  • Proven revenue and sales model templates
  • Coaching and business development assistance
  • Access to known angel investors, mentors and resources

Our goal for each portfolio company is to make it in the marketplace in as little as 90 days . Big ideas are great, but we believe that most proof of concepts can be refined in 60 days and MVP and availability can be had in as little as 90.

Getting to market quickly and gaining a customer in your first two quarters is what investors are looking for in large investment rounds. Let us put you on track to achieve success earlier than you could have imagined.
