The Narosa Group is a Charlotte, NC based IT and Business Consulting firm with more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology, Business Strategy and Project Management. We’ve all owned our own businesses or worked for big companies, so we know what works and what doesn’t. We’ve “Been There – Done That” so you can benefit from our knowledge.

We develop business plans, we run projects, we do development. We do as much or as little as you want us to do… and help you company execute to those plans while providing sales and operations strategies for long term growth.

Testing is one of the most overlooked, but certainly the most important part of any project.

We employ a very well designed testing procedure that seeks out, tracks and fixes all issues that arise. Once we complete systems tests, we include you, our client, as part of the User Acceptance.

Now comes the fun part!

Deployment!! Once testing is complete and you the client have approved, we deploy into full production. Our staff will help train yours on how to manage and maintain things into the future.

Methodologies

Agile

Lets get one thing straight: if a consulting organization comes to you and says they employ a “True Agile” methodology, they’re lying. OK, maybe lying is too strong a word here, but they are certainly not telling you the whole truth. Truth is, that unless you have a full time and large IT staff that can dedicate 100% of their time on YOUR project (and you’re willing to pay for that) its impossible to do TRUE AGILE.

Waterfall

So what then? Traditional Waterfall? Well, we don’t quite like that either. We don’t like to have long dark periods where the developers are just working away then BAM – we show you your new product or system at the end. Not the most reassuring process for you, and honestly not very comforting for us.

Hybrid

What we do at The Narosa Group is ANALYZE the project first, then proceed in a manner that best fits your expectations. Usually, this is a Hybrid process: utilizing the best aspects of both - Agile sprints for core development and waterfall for integration, data migration, testing and last minute end user requirements. You’ll get the best of both worlds – shorter development cycles and control of scope while having the capability to fully integrate and execute the broader based activities into a systematic plan. Less meetings and more doing. We like that. And so will you.
